God’s Word doesn’t just sit on the page.

Living Word follows that Word through creation, daily labor, and acts of mercy, with flowing Scripture ribbons becoming hands and feet. The nail-pierced hand and foot point to Christ, while a ribbon reaches the cross and becomes its draped cloth—the Word who spoke all things into being, became flesh, and carried out His saving work.

The woodcut-style scene accompanies the saying, “His words are not dead words—they are living creatures, with hands and feet.” Frequently attributed to Martin Luther.

Isaiah 55:10–11 grounds the message: God’s Word accomplishes what He sends it to do. I wanted the image to give that promise movement, from the waterfall and growing fields to the person helping a neighbor—and ultimately to the cross.

Helpful hint! Take one of your own items, measure it, and use those measurements as a reference against the ones listed in this guide.

Start the measurement from the collar at the top (high point shoulder) and extend the measuring tape down to the item's bottom.

B Width

Begin measuring at one side at the chest level and extend the tape horizontally to the opposite side.

C Sleeve length

Start measuring from the back center of the collar, proceed along the sleeve's top seam to the shoulder, secure the tape there, and continue until you reach the end of the sleeve.
