My Favorite Rib pairs a barbecue-worthy dad joke with the account of God creating Eve from Adam’s rib in Genesis 2. One side delivers the punch line; the other brings it home to the Biblical picture of husband and wife becoming one flesh.
This one is my ode to Caroline. Marriage gives us plenty to laugh about, and I wanted something affectionate, a little ridiculous, and grounded in gratitude for the woman God brought into my life.
