The Bible is open. The argument is going strong. Is anyone being built up?

Foolish Controversies is a two-sided graphic sweatshirt about Biblical discernment, Christian unity, and knowing when an argument has stopped being useful. The front uses cartoon artwork to show a heated discussion over a calendar, paired with Titus 3:9 and its warning against pointless controversies and quarrels about the law.

The back offers a better direction: “In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, charity.” Romans 14:19 follows with the call to pursue peace and mutual edification.

I wanted this design to make us pause and examine how we disagree. Holding firmly to God’s Word also means taking seriously what it says about loving and building up one another. A little pointed humor for anyone who has watched a Bible discussion turn into a contest nobody wins.

Supplier-provided measurements might differ by up to 2 inches (5 cm).

Helpful hint! Take one of your own items, measure it, and use those measurements as a reference against the ones listed in this guide.

A Length

Start the measurement from the collar at the top (high point shoulder) and extend the measuring tape down to the item's bottom.

B Width

Begin measuring at one side at the chest level and extend the tape horizontally to the opposite side.

C Sleeve length

Start measuring from the back center of the collar, proceed along the sleeve's top seam to the shoulder, secure the tape there, and continue until you reach the end of the sleeve.
