Great Exchange is a graphic Hoodie depicting Christ receiving tattered garments while those around Him are clothed in clean robes. The scene illustrates the grace at the heart of the Gospel: we bring our sin and need; He gives us His righteousness.
Above the artwork, words from Martin Luther’s Christmas hymn marvel at the Creator becoming weak and small. Below, 2 Corinthians 8:9 connects His willing poverty with the riches we receive through Him.
I wanted the artwork to make that gift visible. With its rich earth tones and detailed engraving style, this design invites a conversation about the incarnation, forgiveness, and salvation freely given through Jesus Christ.
