Spiritual Gifts Hoodie
The Holy Spirit does not need your permission—or a set of instructions.
Spiritual Gifts pairs a descending dove and golden rays with a direct reminder from 1 Corinthians 12:11: the Spirit apportions His gifts to each person individually as He wills. The emphasis belongs on His will, rather than our expectations, demands, or preferred demonstrations of spiritual power.
The back follows with Paul’s questions from 1 Corinthians 12:29–30: Are all apostles? Prophets? Teachers? Do all work miracles, heal, speak in tongues, or interpret? The expected answer is no. Different gifts serve the same body; possessing a particular gift is no measure of someone’s standing in Christ.
I wanted this design to challenge the pressure to produce an emotional spiritual experience or prove your faith, baptism, or salvation by displaying any particular Spiritual gift. The Holy Spirit is God. His gifts are given for the good of His people, and He knows how to distribute them without our supervision.
